The OEM version of this stopping system only lasts a few years. Which, if you think about it, is excellent! Regular brakes don't last that long, and this thing is electrically stopping your 48v motor!

The Reliance E-Z-GO Electric RXV Motor Brake is an exact copy of the stock version it replaces.

The electric RXV motor brake gets mounted under the cart's rear right on the motor itself, but this is not a hard swap. Just because it's an electrical component and not the regular shoes you are used to, does not mean you will have difficulties to mount it. Consult your repair manual, give us  a call, watch an install video online, or all three. If you feel comfortable, call Carrus and say, send it!
