Notes

1

Recharge the battery system at a minimum every six months and charge it until it meets the SOC storage requirements. If the SOC is 0, the battery must be powered up immediately and placed on charge.

2

It is not recommended to leave a vehicle for more than 7 days when the battery system power is at (SOC<10%) at normal temperature, this can cause consequent damage to the battery and the battery warranty could be subject to rejection.

3

Low-Temperature storage, the storage temperature range is -4°F to 14°F (- 20 to - 10 ℃), which is limited to 1-2 days. Long-term storage in these conditions are not recommended. If stored in this temperature range for a long period of time, the performance and safety of lithium battery will be irreversibly affected and battery warranty subject to rejection.

3.A

Cold climate areas (Ambient temperatures are continuously lower than 41°F (5), please place vehicle on charge immediately after parking, and charge until the SOC is no less than 80%

4

High-Temperature storage, If the storage temperature exceeds 95°F (35℃), the battery self-discharge increases. Long term storage at these high temperatures will reduce the battery cycle life.

4.A

Vehicles should not be stored for more than 1 day with (< 20%) SOC in a high temperature climate (Temperatures > 113°F ((45℃)) without being placed on charge. These conditions will significantly reduce battery life and battery warranty subject to rejection.

5

To place vehicle in “Sleep” Mode either place Key switch to the “Off” position, Cycle Lithium Battery On/Off Switch on Dash to “Off” position (No Light) or depress the On/Off Button on the side of the Battery case to the “Off” position.

6

It is recommended to have a Certified Fire Extinguisher located in the same area as where the Lithium Battery will be stored. The best fire extinguisher for a lithium-ion battery fire is an ABC or BC extinguisher. However, a lithium battery fire needs a Class -D dry powder extinguisher, certified for use in Lithium Fires.
