Batteries

Battery is the main component of your cart. It is the one item our customers with electric carts worry about replacing the most when it comes to maintenance of their vehicles. We can supply you with all relevant brands: Trojan, Reliance, Sebang, Relion. And we will consult you on choosing the right charger for batteries.

All battery types are available:

Lithium –  Lithium golf cart batteries are known for their longevity, which is one of the reasons they’re becoming more popular in general. They don’t require regular maintenance, significantly lighter, recharged much faster (up to 80 percent capacity in about an hour, and reach full charge in less than three hours) and more efficient overall. Lithium golf cart batteries can last through 5,000 charging cycles.

Lead-Acid - the batteries that you fill with water. The most common and lowest-cost deep-cycle batteries for golf carts. The main advantage of lead-acid batteries is that they have the lowest upfront cost. However, their lifespan is shorter compared to other golf cart battery types, require the most maintenance, and are the heaviest. Up to 1000 charge cycles.

AGM - Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries are a sealed variation of a lead-acid battery. The main advantage is that AGM Batteries don’t require regular maintenance, no need to replace water, which makes them a popular choice for many users. Capable of fast-charging, medium-sized batteries.

There are two power features to look for when you purchase batteries.

Your electric cart will take 6, 8, or 12V batteries. Its volt electrical drive system will have a 36V or 48V system.

To find out which type your cart takes, check the battery compartment. There will be 3, 4, or 6 holes. Multiply by two, and that is your cart's voltage capability.

Do I have a 36v, 48v or 72v golf cart?

Example: 36-Volt Golf Cart (w/ 6, 6V Batteries system):

3 acid holes x 2 volts per hole = 6-volts

6 volts x 6 total cart batteries = 36-volt cart
