Carrus has been purchasing used carts worldwide for more than 20 years. We source our carts from golf courses, brand resellers, banks, and traders. Because each cart has operated in different environments, the quality varies. For example, exposure to sun and sea air can negatively affect the condition of a cart.

Inspection proces

All used carts arrive at our warehouse in Nieuwegein. To give you an impression of what we do upon arrival, our process includes the following steps:

Cleaning

Parts
Broken parts – All physically broken standard parts and accessories are removed; standard parts are replaced, accessories are not.
Windscreen – Broken windscreens are removed but not replaced. Carts with removed windscreens are offered without one.
State-of-charge meter – Tested for basic functionality, not for accuracy or quality.
Controller – Reset to factory settings.
Keys - Every cart will have one key
Ignition switch - The igition switch will de function on the cart
Code ignition - When a code ignition is on the cart, it will work and the code will be written on de windscreen.
Tires – Flat tires are repaired or replaced. Tires with worn-out tread are not replaced.

Tested
Cart functionality test – Using an external battery pack, we test:
a. Forward driving
b. Reversing
Brakes – Tested for basic functionality, not quality or performance.
Charger – We check that the charger starts charging; we do not perform a full charge cycle.
Front suspension – Tested for functionality, not quality.
Rear suspension – Tested for functionality, not quality.
Steering – Tested for basic functionality, not quality.

Not tested
Batteries – We do not test batteries. In some cases, the cart may arrive without batteries; this will be visible in the pictures.
Accessories – Accessories are neither replaced nor tested.
Rims – Rims are not inspected; rim colors may vary.
MCOR (Club Car) – MCOR unit is not tested and may need replacement.
Bodies – Bodywork remains exactly as shown in the pictures and may include damage.
Seats – Seats are delivered in the condition shown in the pictures.
Rust – Steel components may show rust. We do not take pictures of rusted areas.

Pictures

With the pictures we take, we always aim to give you the clearest possible impression of the cart's condition. All photos are taken from the same fixed positions to ensure consistency and to provide an accurate representation of the cart’s quality.

Warranty

All carts are sold as seen, meaning it is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the carts—either through the provided pictures or by visiting our location. If, upon arrival at the buyer’s location, the carts do not match the condition in which they were offered or inspected, the buyer must submit a claim within 5 days of delivery. After this 5-day period, no claims can be accepted.

Documents or certificates

The only documents we supply with the carts are the invoice and the packing list. We do not provide any certificates, service records, or historical documentation of the carts.

Payment

Payment must be made in full within 8 days after placing the order. If payment is not received within this period, the order will be cancelled.
We do not accept reservations

Transport

Carrus can request a transport quotation from a local transport company on behalf of the customer. We do not economically benefit from this service; it is offered solely as an added convenience for our customers.
